Branding your Products

There are plenty of decoration techniques used to add your logo to products… here are the most common methods:

Embroidery

The preferred embellishment to deliver a professional reproduction of your logo or brand. Usually applied to the left chest of a garment, sleeve or on the front/side of a cap. Most logos are formatted about the size of a business card (3.5” wide x 2” high).

Patches

Patches are more nostalgic these days, but direct embroidery is less expensive and looks so much more professional.  Patches are convenient to distribute or to “patch” over existing apparel decoration and easy to sew in place.  Patches are produced with specialty equipment and are typically produced overseas, requiring a 50-piece minimum order and a 10–15-day turnaround.

Screen Printing

The most budget friendly method of producing a quantity of branded apparel. The most common screen-printed garments are T-Shirts and Sweatshirts, as well as some bags and other “promotional products”.

And everyone LOVES
a T-Shirt!

Tees are walking billboards that last: 80% of American consumers own at least one promotional t-shirt in their drawers, 63% keep their imprinted t-shirts for more than a year, and 47% hang onto them for over two years. Hard to beat that ROI.

Screen Print Transfers

Sometimes 25 pieces aren’t needed all at once, or there’s an immediate deadline, and yet screen printing is still the desired option. We can screen print your design on a special release material, or Transfer Sheet, then cure them onto garments as needed, using an automatic heat press.

Full Color Digital Transfers, DTG (Direct to Garment printing) and Sublimation

These decoration methods are tailored for full color imprints on T-Shirts. Low minimums and good print quality make this an ideal solution in some instances, but it is an expensive process.

Factory Direct – Promotional Products

There are thousands of products available, more than just Apparel and specifically designed to sport logo application.  Many different embellishment methods are used to add your logo or message.

Spot Color (or Solid Color) is printing using one matched color for the ink… white for example… and printed in a solid.  This is the most cost-effective method of imprinting promotional products.  Additional colors can be added to the imprint as well to best match a logo or desired imprint.

Full Color (or Process Color) uses 4 inks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black) that are printed in succession, combining the printed “dots” of color to create a final full color image.)  As the process suggests, this can be a longer imprinting process and often costs more that single, or spot, color printing.

Other decoration methods include laser etching, embossing, debossing, epoxy domes and more – lots of options!  We always strive to suggest and explain each so that you can make selections with confidence.

Our Graphic Designers work to ensure the best possible imprint, including pre-production mockups, design options, and suggestions.

Say HELLO to Prospective Customers

Prospects love to receive logo products, and (especially if they are quality!) they use them, keep them, and are more likely to do business with the brand.

  • “Giveaways” are most often intended to get prospect’s attention and to establish some brand awareness.  They are frequently:
  • Event associated – trade shows or other venue/occasion
  • Part of an announcement or product rollout
  • To commemorate and underscore recognition of a milestone or event
  • Every application and budget demands unique attention – what works for one event, might not work for another and you don’t want your giveaways to become stale.
  • Consider the message you want to deliver, the audience that will receive the item(s), and desired results you expect to achieve.
  • We’d love to provide another perspective on your project with some suggestions and provide ideas.  Call us anytime!
